TLDR

Geographic farming is a top strategy for real estate agents, but its time-consuming tasks often lead to inconsistent efforts and missed opportunities. Through customer discovery with real estate agents, I identified their highest value problems to solve around lead generation and mapped out their geo-farming processes. Harvest AI was developed to simplify and automate these processes, identifying high-turnover farms, sourcing and formatting lead data, and nurturing leads consistently. By analyzing ownership patterns, contactability, and demographics, Harvest AI tailors marketing efforts and predicts selling likelihood, resulting in a significant increase in conversion rates. This solution, validated through prototyping and feedback from agents, reduces farming time by 90%, allowing agents to focus on more strategic activities.

What is Geo-Farming?

Geo-farming is a marketing strategy used by real estate agents to establish and nurture a presence within a specific geographic area or demographic group. The goal is to become the go-to expert in that area or for that group, ultimately generating more leads, listings, and sales.

The development of Harvest AI began with extensive customer discovery, engaging with real estate agents to understand their pain points and developing a target persona to identify the highest value problem to solve.

By mapping out the agents' current geo-farming processes, I iterated on potential future states and solutions.

Solution

I created a proof of concept and demo of Harvest AI (demo available upon request). This prototype was then validated through continuous feedback from real estate agents, ensuring it met their needs.

Outcome

The development of Harvest AI has the potential to transformed real estate farming for agents. By automating data acquisition, management, and lead nurturing, agents will see 90% reduction in the time spent on these tasks.
